Is it possible to make fair trade certified electronics?
This application is part of a bachelor thesis project at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts & Design. Its main focus is to encourage a discussion concerning how electronic products are produced, and what responsibility consumers or the industry should take.
The app is a way to show how the production process could be much more transparent and that workers-rights could be taken into consideration a lot more than is done today. In order to demand a difference in how electronics are produced, consumers need to be aware of the current situation. But I think that by also showing a possible future scenario people can feel more encouraged to demand a difference.
