GOMA

The app provides information on communication / reporting around medical incidents.

The GOMA app is an initiative of Centramed. The application is made to support healthcare providers in complying with the code of conduct 'openness medical incidents; Better settlement of medical liability ( GOMA ). The application will be offered for free and offers you practical information and tips on communication and reporting around an incident (or unintended event).

The GOMA is facilitated by the Personal Injury Council and has been drawn up by representatives of the Dutch Association of Medical Advisors in Private Insurance Affairs (GAV), Royal Dutch Society for the Promotion of Medicine (KNMG), Dutch Patients Consumers Federation (NPCF), Centramed, Medirisk, Association of Insurers (PIV, legal assistance insurers), VU University and Erasmus University. As advisers, the Ministry of Justice, the Association of Lawyers for Victims of Personal Damage (ASP) and the Letselschade Advocaten Association (LSA) are involved. The Dutch Association of Hospitals (NVZ) and the Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU) endorse the GOMA and recommend compliance with the Dras Code to their members.
