The city administration's app also offers two special features. During the conception, a main focus was on open software applications and standards. The Internet offer for concerns from citizens to the city administration of Bonn and the mobile city map with numerous detailed topic cards was integrated into the app and is based on open source software.

The Bonn RatStV is shown for the first time nationwide in a municipal app. The political debate in the live stream can be followed on the meeting day of the Bonn city council. (Note: Please note that larger amounts of data will be called up at a live stream of the council meeting. We therefore recommend that we only use the livestream with a WLAN access.) The associated public printed matter of the city council bodies can also be viewed in the app. The city administration hereby continues to expand the mobile communication options and the open governance activities.
